What Is Quantum Computing? Quantum computing operates by leveraging the core principles of quantum mechanics to handle information. Conventional computers rely on binary bits, which can be either 0 or 1, whereas quantum computers operate using qubits. These qubits possess the unique ability to exist in both states simultaneously due to a phenomenon known as superposition. As a result, quantum computers achieve computational speeds far beyond the capabilities of classical systems.
