1 Posts | Last post February 15, 2018 eazy_al Written February 15, 2018 Hello, I'm little bit confused. You said that WorkFlow Manager is not yet supported for SQL Server2016 and Windows 2016. But I found this. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj193487.aspx I have installation of Sharepoint2016 on server"a" (Windows Server 2016) and SQL Server 2016 on server"b" (Windows Server 2016). Is Work Flow Manger in this setup now supported? Thank you Alex

1 Posts | Last post October 26, 2017 Niklas rtlh Written October 26, 2017 I see you mention Update for Service Bus Server 1.1 (KB3086798) should be installed, but in the pre-requisites you mention to install Service Bus 1.0. Should it be SB 1.1 installed from the beginning instead?

2 Posts | Last post April 19, 2017 jahlers77 Written February 21, 2017 Hello, We are upgrading our SharePoint 2013 farm to SharePoint 2016. I was wondering if I need to move the WFInstanceManagementDB, WFManagementDB and WFResourceManagementDB to the new 2016 SQL server or do I just create new databases when I install WorkFlow Manager on the Server for SharePoint 2016? Waqas Sarwar(MVP) I would prefer to create a new Workflow manager with new DBS...

The CU3 is installed already

6 Posts | Last post June 20, 2016 Master of a Tiny Universe Written June 18, 2016 CU3 is installed during the initial Workflow Manager step. If you try to install it again like these instructions say, you get a misleading error. Master of a Tiny Universe I meant CU3 and the Workflow Manager CLIENT is installed already.

Master of a Tiny Universe Written June 18, 2016 Register-SPWorkflowService failed so after looking at other articles on the web, I did the following and was successful: 1) iisreset 2) added both URL for my Site Collection and Central Admin to the hosts file c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts like 127.0.0.1 and 127.0.0.1 3) Get-SPWorkflowServiceApplicationProxy | Remove-SPServiceApplicationProxy 4) Register-SPWorkflowService -SPSite "http://" -WorkflowHostUri "http://ms-dev01 :12291" -force -AllowOauthHTTP NOTE that I did NOT specify a port or /sites/workflow in step 4 I'm a developer so best of luck... Master of a Tiny Universe Written June 20, 2016 Not done yet... Now even though SP Designer shows SP 2013 Workflow, you can't publish it because you get the following error: App Management Shared Service Proxy is not installed So go to Central Admin, Manager Service Applications, and create an App Management Service and make sure it's started. Master of a Tiny Universe I love Microsoft...

Waqas Sarwar(MVP) Written June 20, 2016 Hi Master of tiny universe, thanks a lot to raise all the concerns. I am just clarifying a couple of things, this is scenariobased installation( single server dedicated farm not sharepoint on it). 1) if you install the WFM it will include the WFM client as well, but you have to install the WFM client on the SharePoint Server. if you installing the WFM on SharePoint server then no need of WFM client separately. 2)I am not sure why you adding the Host file entries. 3) that is one of the Requirement(App Management and Site subscription services having hidden dependency), which never published. I include the Tips section in my guide and re-uploaded so that no body miss it. For Cu3, I am not sure because in my case i have to install it separately for WFM. Thanks for your time and feed back.
