However, there are some key dissimilarities between the two circumstances. PCOS is a hormonal condition that causes the ovaries to produce too much testosterone. This can show the growth of small cysts on the ovaries, as well as symptoms like weight gain, thinning hair, and acne. PCOD likewise makes the ovaries produce too much testosterone, it is not a hormone disorder. Rather, it is caused by a buildup of fluid in the ovaries. This can also lead to the development of cysts, but the symptoms are typically less severe than those seen in PCOS. PCOD is a regular issue, 10% of the world’s women are influenced by it. Then again, PCOS is a serious ailment around 0.2% to 2.5% of the world’s ladies populace is impacted by it. PCOD is a condition in which ovaries produce many immature or partially mature eggs and this happens due to poor lifestyle, obesity, stress, and hormonal imbalance. PCOS is a metabolic condition and a more extreme condition where ovaries quit delivering eggs. PCOD doesn’t have any serious complications. On the other hand, PCOS has serious complexities, for example, type 2 diabetes, coronary illness, hypertension, and endometrial malignant growth in later stages. PCOD can often be managed just by making informed lifestyle modifications, and may not even require further medical therapy at all. PCOS however is a condition of the endocrine system – it has more threatening implications and
