A Neuropsychological Evaluation is an indepth assessment of an individual's cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. The Importance of Neuropsychological Evaluation The evaluation typically involves reviewing relevant documents (e.g., medical records, previous assessments), a clinical interview with the patient (and family member, if applicable), a few hours of neuropsychological testing using standardized measures of cognition, the production of a written report, and a feedback session for the patient and family.
