JOB SUMMARY AND MISSION: CEVA Logistics is hiring a Human Resources Manager located in Atlanta, GA. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources Management including policies and procedures, recruitment, hiring, compensation management, benefits administration, labor law compliance, and employee relations. Based in Atlanta, Georgia with multi-site and multi-state responsibilities. Summary of Key Responsibilities: Partners with business leaders to evaluate current business challenges; develops and executes strategy to address key issues as they relate to HR Oversees the performance management evaluation process; advises managers in the area of performance management as an ongoing process. Ensures consistency and compliance of all hiring procedures to corporate policies & procedures; ensures all required documentation is complete and forwarded to the proper destination. Implements all applicable corporate policies and ensures compliance. Reviews turnover and administers appropriate plans to implement changes. Investigates and resolves employee relations issues. Develops and administers an effective recruitment program, interviews personnel for available positions and provides guidance to management in the interviewing process. Conducts trainings for staff as needed. Maintains HR records for the business unit. Facilitates benefits process for new hires and during open enrollment. Facilitates recognition and engagement programs. Oversees the process for handling workers compensation and unemployment compensation claims. Oversees the performance management evaluation process; advises managers in the area of performance management as an ongoing process. Completes other projects as assigned by the Director Human Resources Responsible for managing multi-site facilities Education, Knowledge, Experience & Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Management, Business or equivalent is required. At least five (5) years Human Resources Management experience is required. Master's Degree in Human Resources, Management, Business or equivalent is preferred. Previous service industry and multi-site experience is preferred. Certification and Licenses PHR or SPHR preferred Languages and Communication Skills Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees. Other Skills/Experience Knowledge of Human Resources Management including legal/regulatory compliance, current theories and practices; and up-to-date knowledge of all federal, state, and local laws governing human resources is required. Must have the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. A high degree of flexibility to meet multiple/changing priorities and business demands. Ability to manage multiple business units in multiple locations. Must be skilled at communicating effectively with employees, management and business community and must have the ability to make formal presentations to all groups of employees.
