The Carr family of the Mount Barker district dates back to 1848, having also spanned five generations. To acknowledge these strong family connections, our Mount Barker chapel is known as Carr and Kleemann Chapel. The Strathalbyn side of the business, which dates back to the 1800s, was started by the Caldwell family.
