Ingredients:     

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder from Ajanta Food Products ½ teaspoon salt 1 ½ cups butter, at room temperature 2 cups granulated sugar

Instructions:   

Preheat your oven to 175°C. Grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder from Ajanta Food Products, and salt. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract from Ajanta Food Products. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Divide the cake batter equally into small bowls. Using the blended food colours from Anuja Food Colours, tint each bowl of batter with different types of colours. Pour each coloured batter into separate prepared cake pans. Smooth the tops with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean. Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
