My mother has sugar on border line 100 to 115. What could she do to control and reduce it? Suggest some diet or something please. Dt. Shraddha Sahu M.sc dietitics and food service management, Diabetes educator Dietitian/Nutritionist, Bhopal
You should go for brisk walk in the morning. Do regular exercise atleast 15 minutes. Loose your extra weight this will not only lower your blood but also helps lowering your blood pressure, cholesterol too. No long gapes in your meal and skipping of meals. Timely and balanced diet is as important. Complex carbohydrates and fibre should be included. You should avoid fasting and feasting. Junk food should be avoided. Except fruit juice you should eat complete fruit because it contain fibers which is good for a diabetes patient. 1 person found this helpful

HelloOrgasmCertain things are needed to push women over the brink of ecstasy. Try these bedroom-tested strategies 1) THE DOUBLE GRIP Despite all the attention her booty may attract when she's walking down the street in tight jeans or bending over a file cabinet, a woman's butt is too often sidelined during sex. And that's why grabbing both of her cheeks when she's on top may be just the unexpected turn-on a girl needs to get off. "The buttocks are packed with nerve endings, To give her a surprising jolt of pleasure, spread your fingers wide and squeeze both buttocks firmly. But take it one step at a time. Yes, of course, there are women out there who crave a good spanking, but until you've had a conversation about this sort of thingâ however playful you areâ just keep it simple. 2) THE ULTIMATE There's no question that clitoral contact is the ultimate fuse blower. But howâ and how muchâ depends on the woman. "Going down on a woman allows you to get a real sense of the stimulation she likes at every stage of arousal, especially the final one. It also eliminates any performance anxiety she has during intercourse, so she can kick back and enjoy. Learn what she likes. Get between her legs and give her a solid base of lips, tongue, gums, and even chin to rub against. At first, use your hands to guide her hips to let her know you want her to do the grinding. When she takes over, note how hard she's pushing and in what direction. Use that information later when using your fingers or giving her a more aggressive tongue bath. 3 people found this helpful

I have hypothyroid problem shall I drink cool water or not please suggest some food habits about it. Dr. Narendra K Gupta MACP, MD - General Medicine, FRCP, MBBS Endocrinologist, Gurgaon
It does not matter what temperature is the water that you drink. I am not a big believer in too many dietary restrictions in hypothyroidism. What is important to take the medicine, regularly first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and do not eat for half an hour after taking the pill. Please get periodic tsh levels done! good luck. 2 people found this helpful

Sir uric acid is 11 ESR 23 lipid profile chest. 250 LDL 166.8 VLDL clolst. 43.9 triglycerides 233.8 HDL ratio 6.33 LDL 4.22 creatine 1.70 uric acid 11.2 please help. febuget 40 iss fine for uric acid of 80 or some other medicines. Dr. Himani Negi BHMS Homeopath, Chennai
Normal Uric acid levels are 2.4-6.0 mg/dL (female) and 3.4-7.0 mg/dL (male) Some diets that are rich in purine end up causing an increased production of uric acid. In other cases, it may be due to a completely sedentary lifestyle. Less intake of water also may be to blame in some cases as water plays an important role in washing out the excess of the uric acid. Regular usage of some medicines also cause the uric acid levels to rise. Another important factor is being overweight as obese people are much more likely to get gout as compared to those who have normal weight. It is a tragedy of the modern world that the superior advertising and marketing power of the allopathic system of medicine has eclipsed the good and genuine work of Homeopathy. This is largely because Homeopathic system of medicine cannot compete with the money power of Allopathy. Just because allopathy does not have any cure for gout, patients tend to think that there is no cure for gout at all. People are not aware of the great work that Homeopathy can do in the cure of gout. I cannot stress enough here that homeopathic medicines are pretty effective at curing the acute as well as the chronic gout You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance and permanent cure without any side effects 1 person found this helpful

The TSH was 7-8 (3-4 years back) I was prescribed Thyroxine 75 OD but unfortunately I discontinued it 2 years back. Now these days, I felt overweight (100 Kg / 5' 10.5' Hight) and less energy so I get the test again by self. The results were. 27/Sep/16 T3 94 (Ref: 60 - 200) T4 3.1 (Ref: 4.5 - 12.0) TSH 18.92 (Reff: 0.30 - 5.5) I met my doctor and he advised to continue with Thyroxine 75 OD. Later after one month I get these tests done again. 7/Nov/16 T3 94 (Ref: 60 - 200) T4 6.2 (Ref: 4.5 - 12.0) TSH 7.45 (Reff: 0.30 - 5.5) I was advised to get Lipid profile as well, so reports are. TOTAL CHOLESTEROL 190 mg/dl (Ref: 125 - 200) HDL CHOLESTEROL - DIRECT 30 mg/dl (Ref: 35-80) TRIGLYCERIDES 506 mg/dl (Ref: 25 - 200) LDL CHOLESTEROL - DIRECT 100 mg/dl (Ref: 85 - 130) VLDL CHOLESTEROL 101.12 mg/dl (Ref: 5 - 40) TC/ HDL CHOLESTEROL RATIO 6.3 Ratio (Ref: 3.0 - 5.0) LDL / HDL RATIO 3.3 Ratio (Ref: 1.5 - 3.5) NON-HDL CHOLESTEROL 159.7 mg/dl (Ref: < 160) Please suggest if I am suffering from something serious. However I have started walk for 1-2 KM every evening. Dr. Jafer Sadiq Mp BHMS Homeopath, Kochi
No need to worry about these medical results. First of all try to take a curative treatment for your thyroid problems. Do not worry about High triglycerides. It will come down gradually with some simple medicines. Do regular exercise and follow low fatty diet habits. Include more salads in your plate. Avoid fluorine products from your day to day activities. (eg. High flourine Tooth paste, etc) 1 person found this helpful
