Strumming & Singing This is a place for beginners to learn simple songs, with easy chords. I plan on most songs being Two to Five chords. I do not plan on adding any complicated music. I hope that this site will be an encouragement to everyone learning and everyone that wants to teach themselves to play. You can find many chord charts on the internet, so if you don't have one, they are very easy to find. Just Google ~ Free Guitar Chord Chart. Have fun!

About Me
Connie Hi, my name is Connie and I’m so pleased that you’ve found my blog. I'm a woman of simple pleasures. Like John Denver, "Sunshine makes me happy!" and other things that make me happy are my husband of 41 years, my lovely daughter and my two delightful granddaughters. I have a passion for life and all things creative. Three years ago we purchased a small country home on an acre of land, which for us is huge. Every day brings with it a new adventure. The fixing up, of our little fixer-upper and the mowing of that huge yard is going to give me the exercise and creative projects that I need to stay forever young. I am enjoying my journey, life is good!

They play blue grass also. Oh I love that. They play guitar, banjo, violin. One piece I really like is a song. Mothers tell your children about the love of Jesus. So when they grow up and the song goes on. My fav. Another song take it to the Lord. A child of the King. Well 16 songs to each cd. My oldest Granddaughter sings Gospel since she was knee high to a grasshopper. Has a beautiful voice. The young generation do videos on youtube . So she has made me some and I also taped her off my camera her and brother who sings with her and plays the guitar. My hubbys cousin in Holland was a beautiful singer . His name is Roomey Henstra. Some songs can come on Youtube free. He since has died sadly of a heartattack and the fans who he had many filled the soccer auditorium as the funeral home could not take them all.. His son sings also now . He is carrying on in bars though. been praying he gets saved. So music is all in our family as well. So nice to know Connie you are a singer. My one brother could yodel . I loved to hear him. Can you Connie? My sister was a violinist and the Lord has her now in Heaven. She got hit by a car at 19 so very young. Many, moons ago. You asked me to drop in and say hi. I have and I added you. Perhaps you have not had time to look. That is what happens you ask people to drop in and then you get bombarded and do not go to theirs or make a comment on your own to them. So people get tired of the one person and not the sharing on another. I know I do. If I see once a month I fee that is an effort if not. Then I just forget them.
Hugs
