Showcase Your Scenery: Enter The Landscape Watercolor Painting Contest The eternal view of nature is the very core of our existence. Landscapes reflect the feeling of location, recollection, and imagination; for instance, the Tuscan hills or the concrete jungle of New York are some of the most beautiful landscapes. They give us a backstroke to the place where we were, where we want to be, and even where we belong. For artists, landscape painting art is not merely an artwork but a way of feeling, of telling their story, as well as of letting their imagination go wild. That is why the TERAVARNA International Landscape Watercolor Painting Contest is so famous among people in the world of art. In its 13th edition, this juried competition welcomes artists worldwide to present their vision of landscapes, realistic or abstract. We are currently accepting entries, with the deadline of April 15, 2026, and this is your opportunity to show your talent, get global exposure, and even win some cash.
Why Do Landscapes Matter in Art? The landscape art has been assigned a special position in history. Look at the “Wheat Field” painting series of Van Gogh, the “Water Lilies” series of Monet, or the “Desert” series of Georgia O'Keeffe. They not only narrate nature, but they also make one feel calm, in awe, and even anarchic. Landscapes are still inspirational in the modern world. They may be painted, photographed, or digitally visualized. They may be actual images of a mountain chain or abstract images of city life. The landscape painting competition by TERAVARNA celebrates this diversity and invites artists to experiment with landscapes in any style, medium, and point of view.
Why Participate in the Landscape Watercolor Painting Contest? In contrast to the majority of the landscape painting art contests, which restrict the entries to a particular format, TERAVARNA is open to many different categories: - Painting & Mixed Media - Photography & Digital Art - Sculpture & 3D Installation This inclusivity refers to the fact that no matter what type of painter you are, or whether you are using oil colors or soft pastels, or whether you are a photographer or a digital artist with his or her surreal landscapes, you belong here.
And it is not only about participation. The landscape art has a guaranteed cash prize worth up to $3,500 and certificates, along with international exposure. Artists are recognized by being published on the social platforms of TERAVARNA, providing them with an opportunity to gain some visibility.
Awards & Recognition The prizes will be split as follows: ● ● ● ● ●

Others have been able to seize the mute grandeur of the country, and others to revisit the city in the majesty of full-throated symphonies. Participating in the landscape painting competition will also give you a chance to work on yourself, give wings to your imagination, and be a part of a global conversation on how we create, sustain, and transform the world we live in.
