Bobby Aston · Birmingham UK I've just found your e-mail about Agents. I'm self-publishing three books at present and am thinking of evaluating the story that sparked them off. It isn't finished, but can I send the incomplete manuscript to a potential Agent? Your artical is very encouraging by the way. Like · Reply ·

Tom Corson-Knowles · CEO at TCK Publishing I don't know of any agents that accept incomplete submissions. Why would an agent consider a partially written book amongst the thousands of submissions they get? How do you expect a half-written book to compete with books that have gone through multiple rounds of revisions and edits? Like · Reply · 21w · Edited

Frank Daley · Publisher at Self- Knowledge College Got several books in N-F on Amazon. Good reviews. Just starting with fiction but most evidence suggests self-publishing is the way to begin from financial, speed, list building, and other aspects, no? Like · Reply ·

Sandra Haven Great info! I'm sharing this article as a resource for my writers. I especially like that the answer to whether a writer needs an agent is "no," but that you also explain the values an agent can offer. And the trick is not just finding an agent but finding the right one for a writer's particular needs. Like · Reply ·
