How to Access Outlook Web Access (OWA) To access OWA, open Internet Explorer and type the address (URL) http://owa.lincoln.ac.nz/ It is important to note that if you use a browser other than Internet Explorer, the layout will look different to that shown in these instructions. You will also lose some functionality. You will see the following log on page. Type your username and password into the corresponding boxes and click Sign in.
This is a public or shared computer Use this if you are checking your emails from a public PC, or a PC that is used by other users. With this option the system will log you out after 15 minutes of inactivity. It is generally expected that you use this option.
This is a private computer Use this option if you are on your personal work PC (where the outlook client is not installed) and it is not used by any other users. With this option the system will log you out after 8 hours of inactivity. Clicking on show explanation will give you more information. If you have a slow connection you may wish to Use Outlook Web Access Light. Again, clicking on the subject gives you more information. OWA Login Page with Explanation Shown
