EMBEDDED NETWORK BROWNFIELD CONVERSION – COMPLETE END‑TO‑END DELIVERY thenrgcompany.com.au
Many property owners only begin exploring an embedded network brownfield conversion when they realise how much potential revenue has been missed through years of traditional metering arrangements. Converting an existing building, however, is a detailed and highly technical process. It involves replacing outdated meters, transitioning National Metering Identifiers, and coordinating with regulatory bodies such as the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) and AEMO.

When completed correctly, a brownfield conversion offers far more than reduced electricity costs. It enables seamless integration of solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging infrastructure; creates a long‑term revenue stream for the owners corporation; and increases the asset’s overall appeal for future buyers and investors.
