About the Cover
Immunofluorescent image showing localization of phospho-epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR, green) and F-actin (red) in MDA-MB231 breast cancer cells stimulated with epidermal growth factor for 30 minutes. In stimulated cells, EGFR undergoes phosphorylation at tyrosine 1086 and the activated EGFR localizes to the newly formed membrane ruffles, important for cancer cell motility and invasion, around the cells rich in F-actin. Colocalization of phospho-EGFR (green) with F-actin is seen in yellow. For further details, please see Molli and co-workers on page 6161 in this issue.
