Retinal Vein Occlusion (RVO) is a condition where the veins carrying blood away from the retina, located at the back of the eye, become blocked. This blockage causes blood and fluid to leak into the retina, leading to visual problems.

Types of RVO Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion (BRVO) BRVO occurs when a branch of the central retinal vein becomes blocked, affecting a smaller area of the retina. It can cause macular swelling and impact central vision, but vision loss is usually less severe than in CRVO.
Central Retinal Vein Occlusion (CRVO) Central Retinal Vein Occlusion (CRVO) occurs when the main retinal vein becomes blocked, reducing blood flow to the retina and potentially causing severe vision loss.

1.Fluorescein Angiography A diagnostic test that examines blood flow in the retina by injecting a dye called Fluorescein Angiography into a vein in the arm and taking photographs as it travels through the retinal blood vessels. This helps detect blockages or abnormalities in retinal circulation.
3. Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and OCT Angiography A non-invasive imaging scan that provides detailed cross-sectional images of the retina and aids in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular eye disease.
