Glen Iris Architects
Creating Homes in Glen Iris That Feel as Beautiful as They Look In Glen Iris, refined family living is expected—but truly exceptional homes go beyond elegance. They support your family’s health, simplify your routine, and offer comfort you can count on for decades to come. That’s the kind of home we design. Our architects understand the complexity of modern family life— from different ages and needs under one roof, to the desire for spaces that feel connected to nature while remaining effortless to maintain. Every Borland design blends architecture, interiors, and landscape into one cohesive whole—quietly working together to make daily life feel calmer, healthier, and more enjoyable. With a strong focus on performance, longevity, and low running costs, we help Glen Iris families create homes that aren’t just beautiful—they’re intelligent, resilient, and built for real life.
A Clear, Supportive Process from Start to Finish Building your dream home in Glen Iris should feel exciting—not overwhelming. That’s why we offer a guided, end-to-end process that simplifies decision-making and gives you confidence every step of the way. It all starts with clarity. Through our Concept Design stage, we test your brief, site, and budget together—making sure the vision is achievable and aligned with your goals. This is your opportunity to “try us out,” experience our thinking, and gain early direction before committing to the full design journey. From there, we move into a tailored process that supports you from first sketch to final styling. Every stage is handled with care and precision—so you feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout. Here’s how we bring your Glen Iris home to life:
• Concept Design – A high-level feasibility phase that aligns your brief, budget, and site • Schematic Design – Exploring early spatial ideas and opportunities with flexibility • Town Planning – Managing approvals and local overlays with experience • Design Development – Refined detail work that reflects your lifestyle and vision • Interior Design – Cohesive finishes and materials that elevate everyday living • Construction Documents – Builder-ready documentation to ensure execution aligns with design intent • Styling – The final touches that bring everything together beautifully
A Glen Iris Home That Supports Your Wellbeing—Today and for Years to Come What if your home didn’t just look beautiful—but made you feel better every day?
