Calibration of Gas Density Meters
The Gas Density Laboratory at FORCE Technology calibrates vibrating gas density transducers of type Solartron Mobrey 7810, 7811, and 7812. Calibration The calibration is performed on natural gas or pure gases such as Nitrogen or Methane. The calibration can be carried out at temperatures between 5 °C and 40 °C. The calibration may also include calibration of the built-in temperature sensor in the type 7812. The Gas Density Laboratory also carries out determination of gas parameters, compression factors, and the mole mass of gas mixtures.
CAL Reg.No. 9
Accreditation The calibration capabilities are approved by the Danish Accreditation Scheme under the registration No. 9, section 7.

Servicing At the reception, every meter passes through a vacuum check. If the transducer shows an indication of pollution or instability, the meter will be totally stripped, cleaned, and necessary spare parts will be changed. Calibration certificate An accredited calibration certificate is issued together with a service report for each gas density transducer. The Gas Density Laboratory can also provide one or two types of gas correction certificates. One specified to measurement in a gas with a stable gas composition. The other one relates to measurements in gases with varying gas composition. References The Gas Density Laboratory has calibrated gas density transducers for Danish, Norwegian and Finnish clients since 1983. The Laboratory is responsible for maintaining the entire lot of gas density transducers in the Danish natural gas system. The Laboratory has been in volved in many international projects concerning measurement accuracy of gas density transducers.
