Black Woman - Owned Interior Designer Creating Curated Luxury Homes in Virginia and the DC Area Every home we design with multiple rooms begins with a top priority: cohesion. Not repetition. Not uniformity. Cohesion. Each space should feel connected to the next through tone, color palette, proportion, material, and atmosphere. Whether the project is in Virginia or the DC area, or outside of the DMV, we approach the interior design projects as a complete composition. From living rooms, bedrooms, entryways, art curation, global vibes, man caves, commercial lounges, all projects speak the same design language- Unparalleled Eye Designs. That high contrast consistency defines our work.
A Global Perspective, Applied With Precision As a Black woman-owned interior design studio in Washington, DC, we bring cultural awareness and design exploration to every project. That perspective informs how we approach cohesion, material selection, and spatial storytelling across homes throughout Virginia, and the DC area, and out of state design. . Our founder, Noel Benitez, draws inspiration from journeys across Morocco, Mexico City, Thailand, Türkiye, and many other tremendous lands bringing those global influences home. This worldly perspective shapes our approach to every project we touch, from the products we source to spatial composition and the finished room reveal. International exposure influences how we think about scale, texture, and composure. You will see layered textiles, sculptural silhouettes, controlled color transitions, and thoughtful pattern integration throughout our portfolio.
Cohesion in Practice: Our Portfolio Here is how that looks across our work.
The Cultivated Manor | Arlington, VA In The Cultivated Manor, warmth guided every decision. The custom white oak wall unit became the architectural anchor. Instead of introducing competing finishes, we repeated that warmth through butterscotch leather seating, linen upholstery, and a round wood coffee table. The sculptural bird of paradise plant was not a decorative filler. It reinforced the organic language already established. The result feels natural because the materials speak the same language. Nothing interrupts the flow.
Chateau de Robyn | Silver Spring, MD Chateau de Robyn allowed us to work with bold color while maintaining control. The port ceiling and wine-toned curved sofa share the same tonal family. That repetition creates harmony even in a dramatic space. Brass and gold fixtures appear deliberately across the room, reinforcing continuity instead of scattering attention. The Indonesian table introduces texture without disrupting the palette. Every element supports the atmosphere rather than competing for attention.
Kingdom in the Desert | Fort Washington, MD This primary bedroom demonstrates how texture can carry a space without relying on heavy color. The rattan chandelier draws the eye upward. The ribbed boucle bed adds dimension. Marble accent tables provide contrast. Warm wood furnishings maintain consistency. As a bedroom interior designer in Old Town Alexandria, we apply this same approach to private spaces. Mood matters. Restraint matters. Texture often creates more impact than excess color.
The Piano House | Falls Church, VA The Piano House began with contrast.
Ebony and ivory established a strong visual foundation in the entry space. Tailored millwork created a structure. Abstract art introduced movement without overwhelming the architecture. Scale was essential here. Each element feels intentional because proportion remained consistent throughout the room.
Restful Valley | Brandywine, MD In Restful Valley, cabernet and blush tones create a balanced composition across the primary suite. The canopy-style cane bed introduces architectural presence. The wallpapered ceiling deepens the room without making it feel heavy. Botanical accents soften the palette and maintain continuity. The ceiling was treated as part of the design, not as a blank surface. That decision changes how the entire room feels.
Peaches & Cream | Oxon Hill, MD Peach-toned walls and a sage green sectional define this living room immediately. Instead of layering unrelated décor, we allowed those tones to guide the remaining selections. Abstract floor art reinforces scale. The custom-built-in supports the palette. Global accents appear carefully integrated. As a living room interior designer in Bella Haven, we treat the living room as the emotional center of the home. It often sets the tone for everything that follows.
Toasty Cosmos | Rockville, MD Toasty Cosmos embraces depth. Deep teal walls establish an atmosphere from the start. Chartreuse swivel chairs add movement. A custom curved sofa softens the structure of the room. Bold color requires balance. In this project, proportion and repetition keep the room grounded.
Diaspora Whispers | New Albany, Ohio Diaspora Whispers reflects cultural integration at its most refined. Art and sculptures from the Motherland appear throughout the home, not as isolated statements but as part of a controlled color story. Plum walls enhance depth. A commissioned artwork by Anthony Liggins anchors the primary bedroom. The cultural elements feel integrated because the palette supports them. Nothing feels added on. Everything belongs.
From Kitchen to Bedroom: Continuity Across Every Space Our approach extends across the entire home. In our Kitchen Interior Design services in Bella Haven, cabinetry tones align with adjacent living areas. Hardware finishes repeat intentionally. Lighting layers support the transition between functional and social spaces. As entryway & foyer interior designers in Bella Haven, we establish proportion and material tone at the front door. First impressions should feel connected to what follows. Through our bathroom interior design services in Old Town Alexandria, we maintain restraint in tile selection, finish coordination, and lighting warmth. Luxury appears in the details. Across projects, cohesion depends on: ● ● ● ● ●
Repeated materials that carry from room to room Controlled color families with consistent undertones Balanced scale between furniture, art, and architecture Finish continuity across hardware and lighting Intentional transitions between private and shared spaces
These elements protect the integrity of the entire home.
Built With Intention Our work across Northern Virginia and the DC area reflects a clear philosophy. We design complete environments. Each project demonstrates attention to material, scale, color, and cultural context. If you are planning a home and want a design that feels unified from kitchen to bedroom, we welcome the conversation.
