I have the camera setup, it has a local ip address of 192.168.1.23 and I can access the camera locally, my sharepoint site is also local, so how can I embed that live feed into sharepoint, I've tried content editor and page view editor but have no luck in getting the live feed to show up. Any ideas?

When you go to that camera IP address is that the admin side or you actually see the stream? Most cameras require a viewing software or a special webpage with a built-in viewer...

Internally this will work if you setup an iframe. https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/28482875/how-to-Stream-IP-Camera's-into-Sharepoint-Web-Po... I did this once, just loaded up the iframe fo the webgui into the sharepoint page. Click on add content and one of the selection sis to add an iframe. http://www.learningsharepoint.com/2012/11/24/how-to-use-iframes-in-sharepoint-2013/ You wont be able to view it off the network, just on.

so I got it to pull up the webpage but the stream video doesn't come through, so when I type in the following it pulls up this full URL: http://192.168.1.23/view/viewer_index.shtml?id=451 However if I do an iframe with that, it won't work, so I tried this http://192.168.1.23/view.shtml and I got the page to come up but no video I can also open up VLC and use this URL and it loads just the stream rtsp://192.168.1.23/axis-media/media.amp anyway to embed that VLC into sharepoint or how can I get the iframe to work

I agree...seems like it should work. Not sure if this supports streaming, but might be worth a look: https://blogs.office.com/2013/03/08/enhanced-video-experience-in-sharepoint-2013/ Check this one, too: http://smallbusiness.chron.com/stream-video-sharepoint-47210.html
