A Christian Girl’s Abduction In Faisalabad: Rescued By ECSPE INCIDENT On the evening of July 3rd, 2025, a young Christian girl named Adan Sabir, just 18 years old, was abducted at gunpoint from her aunt’s home in Chak No. 126 GB Shahr Wa Na, District Faisalabad. A white GLI vehicle and two motorcycles pulled up outside the house. The armed abductors stormed in, shouting threats and demanding the girl be handed over because she had refused to marry the main accused, Ashley, a married man with three children.
PLEDGED GUILTY? Adan’s relatives, including her uncle, aunt, and cousin, were held at gunpoint while Adan got forcibly dragged into the vehicle. An FIR was filed, but the abductors tried to disguise the crime by presenting a fake Muslim marriage certificate. When Adan was brought to court, she stayed silent out of fear, as her captors had threatened to harm her brother if she told the truth.
A BREAKTHROUGH The judge first sided with the abductors, but Adan’s family appealed to the High Court. After reuniting with her family, Adan revealed the threats and violence she had faced, prompting the court to reopen the case, order a new statement, and reactivate the FIR for proper legal action.
RescueHer: Fighting for the Voiceless This case is one of many. Across Pakistan, Christian and other minority girls are being abducted, coerced, and silenced — their stories buried under fear, power, and corruption. But we refuse to let their voices be erased. Through Project RescueHer, ECSPE is committed to fighting back — offering legal aid, emergency response, and support to the persecuted and abducted. We will not rest until justice is served — not just for Adan Sabir, but for every girl who has been stolen, silenced, or forgotten. Justice must rise, even when fear stands in the way.
