Worthington Schools Worthington is justifiably proud of its educational history which began in the winter of 1804 -- predating laws establishing public education in Ohio by more than two decades. Two Centuries of Educational History: Worthington, Ohio by Jennie McCormick, published in 2008 by the Worthington Historical Society gives a summary of Worthington's educational history from 2004 to 2008. Worthington High School Cardinal - Both the Worthington Historical Society library and the Worthington Room of the Old Worthington Library have a good series of the Worthington High School yearbooks from the 1930s to the present but neither is complete.
