Webelos are invited to visit this event on Saturday! Encourage the Webelos who are ready to cross over to visit and participate in this event. A sled will be available for Webelos Patrols

Camping Information:
We are camping in the modern campground. This is a tent camping event. There are no cabins or other buildings available. As such, the Boys (and adults) need to dress appropriate for cold weather campouts. Latrines and the dining hall restrooms are available for use. The pool house will be closed. Water will be available at the dining hall, it will not be delivered to the camp sites. The only fire-starting materials that will be provided is the fire ring/pit. You will need to bring all other materials for starting a fire.

Clothing Consult your Boy Scout Handbook about proper layering. 3
The key to cold weather camping is to stay warm and dry. Bring both light and heavy weight clothing in order to "layer" if the weather is cold. For underwear and socks, bring at least one change per day.
Underwear / Socks - A pair of dry light weight socks next to your feet will pull the moisture away and keep your feet warmer. Socks - heavy (wool is best - they will be warmer, even if wet) T-shirts Long, thermal underwear - at least one pair Hooded sweat shirt and sweat pants – (make the best pajamas in cold weather) Long pants Long sleeve shirt Warm sweater Warm coat or jacket - suitable for winter camping environment Stocking cap / Face mask. EVENTS INFORMATION: Patrols are to be no more than 8 Scouts per Patrol. Sled Race Troops will provide their own sleds. All other fire building materials must be provided by the patrols Sagamore Scavenger Hunt- All Day Event There will be a scavenger hunt starting after flags on Saturday morning and must be turned in before dinner. There will be 15 items needed to complete the hunt. If more than one Troop completes the Scavenger Hunt, points will be rewarded based on the fastest completed times. The Scavenger List will be given at the start time.

Saturday Dinner will be provided in place of Saturday night Cracker Barrel. This will allow any troop who wishes to checkout Saturday night, time to do so. *Please put on Campmaster any special needs for food. The menu is planned as chili, grilled cheese and baked potatoes. Vegetarian chili can be made IF requested.
