Knowledge of selection that includes a selection of periods consist of selection responses, inter sex selection responses, cattle breeding patterns and correlated selection responses, reproductive ability estimators, and selection of several traits. A3, H
3. Inbreeding consist of inbreeding coefficient, kinship, strain and general overview of inbreeding. 4. Crossing consist of crossing objectives, crossing methods, crossing policies and evaluation and general overview of crossing/crossbreeding in Indonesia. A3, H 5. Problem solving concerning livestock breeding in Indonesia. b. Skill 1. Capable to design and apply the theory of Livestock Breeding in order to increase livestock productivity by improving genetic quality. 2. Able to draw solutions from livestock breeding problems. c. Competence Students are trained to master a problem and able to explain the problems, able to compete and cooperate inter-group and able to communicate their ideas and opinions, especially in livestock breeding through the improvement of genetic quality.
