Bloomberg (Single Account and Firm Wide) The Bloomberg SID file (Subscription Identification Data) is provided by Bloomberg to firms using its real-time market data products, such as Open Bloomberg and Bloomberg Anywhere. The monthly or quarterly SID files contain permisssioning information, such as changes in the number of real-time fee-liable accesses, new and cancelled services and price changes. The INFOmatch Entitlements interface for Bloomberg reads contract and invoice information from original SID reports and updates INFOmatch accordingly. Any change with respect to Bloomberg subscriptions, such as moves, additions & cancellations (MACs) and prices is automatically detected. The interface allows you to compare, check and update crucial data with a few mouse-clicks only. Your Bloomberg environment is optimized by features such as auto-tracking unused services as well as products available for relocation. Bloomberg EMRS As a critical component of the Bloomberg Platform, the Entitlements Management and Reporting System (EMRS) helps firms establish tight control of which users and applications interact with protected data across the enterprise. EMRS allows firms to manage entitlements for individual users, user groups, applications and publishing services. Each data service can be controlled for user and application access to data sources ranging from B-PIPE to internal proprietary data being published over the Bloomberg Platform. INFOmatch incorporates a proprietary interface to EMRS allowing you to synchronise permissioning data. The INFOmatch Entitlements interface for Bloomberg EMRS pulls user and application data profiles from EMRS’ inventory reports into INFOmatch. It thereby automatically updates (or creates) the users, applications, contracts (including product & exchange information) and cost allocations stored in INFOmatch. The interface also imports the B-PIPE price list. It thereby updates EIDs’ contract prices, displays requirements per EID and automatically creates netting rules for EIDs (which can be enabled, disabled and edited as desired) in INFOmatch. The interface makes sure that your market data administration automatically matches with Bloomberg EMRS’ data profiles. It simplifies reporting data usage to exchanges, as well as allocating costs to the actual consumers of data. In the end, it dramatically reduces the workload by up to 90%. INFOmatch User Defined Interface for Entitlements The market data community is confronted frequently with product and price changes. One always has to be prepared to find quite a few price changes on your vendor and exchange bills. Keeping track of all these changes is very time-consuming and is subject to human error. In order to automate and streamline this process INFOmatch incorporates the User Defined Interface for Entitlements. This tool allows you to create your own user defined interface for automated imports of entitlement and allocation files (Excel based), for any vendor of your choice. It enables you to update your contracts (including price information and component quantity), map products and users, set start and end dates of allocations and define tax percentages. This interface makes sure your market data administration automatically matches with all of your vendors’ data profiles. It dramatically reduces the workload by up to 90%, and simplifies internal and external (vendor) reporting.
