Hello Mises institute! I am wondering, is this book intended for layman or scholars? I am not studying economics in college but would like to become as much of an expert on Austrian economics as I possibly can in my free time. Will it be reasonable to assume that I can understand and follow the arguments of Mises? Thank you for your time! Best regards, Hassan Qayyum

Anyone can read it. It is easy to follow, begins with what motivates an individual to act, and develops from there. A must read for a good understanding of the big picture.

It was intended for the economics profession. I would suggest laymen to start with Mises institute lectures on youtube, then go through Rothbard's history of economics to get a strong background perspective on the subject.
