We parked at the Mount Obama car park, about a mile or so along track from Jennings. From there we walked up to the top. Not that well maintained a path. Also very steep in places, especially once you meet the road. We're in reasonable... Does not matter how you get up to Boggy Peak, but you must get up there. It is a great achievement to reach the Summit. To native Antiguans, it is like reaching the top of My Everest. We went up from the north side. It's an intermediate, not dangerous hike through dense vegetation and some really cool giant bamboo clusters. Less than one hour bottom to top if you're in any kind of shape. You can walk around the exterior of the... More

Steep Hike, Rewarding View SarahSook Trinidad and Tobago

The hike trail is most paved and so it's easy to find your way. However, it's really steep so you'd need to take your time or be really physically fit. All in all, it was super fun to do as a group and the view... More

Great views from the top, steep hike up the road travelmartin Munich, Germany

The steep road which you can drive up in a 4x4 is not the best hike up the mountain, but you can reach the start by minibus (to/from Old Road). It took me 45 minutes to the top. It was a hot, early afternoon. I... More

Hiked to the top with the Sugar Ridge excursion. Worth the view, but it is a STEEP climb! I was as amazed to see the concrete drive going straight up as I was to see the view at the top. Be careful driving up Mount Obama. Some of the path is paved, some is dirt, and the incline can be severe at a few points. It is a one lane drive.
